The Application of Information Technology in Distance Education

远程教育作为与传统校园面授教育相对的一种新型教育形态,与信息技术有着密切联系。信息技术是远程教育发展的基础和出发点,技术在转变教学方式使之更好地满足远程教育的学习需求方面是不可或缺的,是重要的“推动力”和“牵引力”。从技术发展的观点探讨远程教育的过去、现在和未来很有必要。

Distance education, as a new mode of educational system, is closely related with information technology which serves as a basis and a starting point for distance education. Technology is indispensable when we mcet the need of learning by reforming teaching methods with it. So, it is necessary to discuss the past, present and future of distance education from the point of view of technology.
