Common Land and Common Right to Land in Early Modern England

土地的公共权利是公地的基本特征。在英国,这种权利从中世纪末期到近代早期逐渐衰弱。与此同时,公地面积也在削减,议会圈地运动只是其消失的最后一个环节,而土地的公共权利则依然存在于公地消失之后。

Common land had existed in England for several centuries, Since late medieval it became to decrease and diminish. Common right to land which was the most essential feature of common land also decreased. During the parliament enclosure of 18th century, the common land had almost disappeared, but the common right survived occasionally till mechanized farming came.
