On the Just Principles of the Socialist Harmonious Community

公平正义是和谐社会的重要特征之一,是贯穿和谐社会各个层面的核心价值理念。维系社会正义的原则是多维度的,它包括经济正义、政治正义和伦理正义。经济正义为社会发展提供动力系统,政治正义为社会进步供给修正系统,伦理正义为社会完善矫正平衡系统。胡锦涛用“民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力”,“人们的聪明才智和创造力得到充分发挥”,“改革和发展所创造的社会财富为全体人民所共享”,“安定团结的局面更加巩固”等来描述和谐社会,这就要求我们从经济、政治、伦理三个维度构建起社会主义和谐社会的基础。

Equality and justice is one of the important characteristics and the core concept in values throughout all classes of a harmonious Community. The principles that maintain social justice are multidimensional, including economic justice, political justice and ethical justice. The economic justice provides the dynamic system for the development of the society, political justice provides the correction system for social progress and the ethical justice provides the balance system for rectifying the society. Just as President Hu Jin-tao described, the socialist harmonious community should be one with 'democracy and law, equity and justice, faithful and friendship, full of energy,' 'people's talents and ingenuity are fully brought into play,' 'the wealth made in reform and development is shared by all the people,' 'the situation with peace and solidarity gets consolidated,' which demands that we construct the socialist harmonious community in economic, political and ethical dimensions.
