There were a lot of poems portraying "Huji" in Tang dynasty. The author thinks that most"Huji"in the poems could be devided into two groups. One was"Jiujia-Hu", who lived in cities and sold wine, another was singers and dancers in imperial court. The images of the former were active, since they were symbols of the flourish empire; while the images of the latter were much negative because they were considered as tempters who let the emperor degenerated and caused the An Lu-shan rebellion at last. The author pointes out that people in Tang dynasty made different reactions to the An Lu-shan rebellion, which also affected their attitude to "Huji".
