The transitional character is one of the distinctivenesses of modem notes on poets and poetry. Even those works whose basic ideas about poems are conservative, influenced by the modem society and culture, also show a certain of novelty. With the example of XiaoYuanShiHua , the author tries to analyse its major theoretic ideas, and to discover the transitional character of modem notes on poets and poetry and the background of its formation.
