A Empirical Study of The Relationship between Pension-Fund Assets and Economic Growth of China

摘要养老金投资与经济增长的关系一直是社会保障研究的重要问题。本文基于我国的宏观经济时间序列,用多种最新计量分析方法,考察了养老金投资对经济增长的影响。实证结果显示,养老金投资对我国经济增长具有正效应,但还不是十分显著;养老金投资对产出的贡献要远小于固定资产投资的贡献。 Research on the link between pension-fund assets and economic growth is important to social security. In this paper, we employ time series to investigate the direct link between investment of pension assets and economic growth, using a variety of appropriate econometric methods. We find positive results which are not statistically significant for China, and the relatively smaller impact of pension assets on economic growth compared to that of the capital stock.
