文学翻译中的文化移情

On the Cultural Empathy in Literary Translation

文学翻译不仅仅是技术性的语言外形的变易,更是要求译者通过原作的语言外壳,深刻体会作者的艺术创作过程。译者在翻译过程中可以通过文化移情,自觉转换文化立场,有意识地超越本土文化的框架模式,将自己置于目的语文化模式中,感受、领悟和理解目的语文化,体验作者的心理过程,在自己的思想感情和生活体验中找到最合适的印证,然后用另外一种文学语言恰如其分地完整地再现原作的艺术形象和风格,使译文读者得到与原文读者相同的启发、感动和美的感受。培养跨文化意识和提高审美意识是实现文化移情的两种主要途径。

Literary translation not only needs the technological change in its external form from one language to another, but also requires the translator＇s profound understanding of the creative process of the author through the tool of the original language. During the process of translation, through cultural empathy, the translator can consciously surpass the framework of his native culture and thoroughly comprehend the culture of the target language in order to experience the psychological process of the original culture and reason out the closest equivalents in his own ideas about life and life examples. Then, through the use of another literary language, he can properly reproduce the artistic images and writing styles of the orignal works and provides the readers of the translated works with the same enlightenment, touch and aesthetic enioyment of the readers of the original works.
