Tbe structure of Jingnan separatist rule in the Late Tang Dynasty is discussed. The system undoubtedly was beneficial to the management of the daily affairs of the general office. It politically and economically promoted the development of its governing area. This structure was the source of the political rules reformation in Five Dynasty and North Song Dynasty, as well as its great influence which can＇ t be ignored on the changes of the political situation in the Late Tang Dynasty.
