Chen Xianzhang involved imperial competitive examination 3 times in his life, but he failed to step on official career, and finally he devoted himself to knowledge in countryside. This choice of life showed his attitude to life, which is influenced deeply by Taoist theory. The reason of Mr. Chen＇ s choice of road of life mainly are the influence of Taoist theory, the influence of social reality, and his rough and rugged life.
