徐特立与稻田中学

XU Te-li and Daotian Middle School

稻田中学的前身是湖南省立第一女子师范学校（俗称稻田师范）。1925年徐特立留法归国后担任该校校长，进行了大量教育教学改革与实践，直至1927年离开长沙。此后学校历经多次搬迁、合并与易名。1995年重建长沙市稻田中学，百年老校焕发新的生机。徐老的革命精神和教育思想将永远在稻田中学传承。

The predecessor of Daotian Middle School is Hunan Provincial No. 1 Young Ladies＇ Normal School （also called Daotian Normal School）. In 1925 XU Te-li went back after studying in France and served as the principal of Daotian Normal School, where he established a series of reforms and practice of education and instruction until he left Changsha in 1927. From then on Daotian School experienced moving, combination and renamed many times, in 1992 Changsha Daotian Middle School was reconstructed, which breathed new life into the one-hundred-year old school. Xu＇s revolutionary spirit and educational thought will be handed down from generation to generation in Daotian Middle School.
