春日游渔泉山

Yuquan Village Tour in Spring

阳春三月，应二三友人之约，欣然往渔泉寺渔泉村一游，记之。

Situated in an out-of-the-way place, Yuquan （fish spring） Village nestles in the Yungai and Baima mountains with the Weiliu River flowing nearby. With a long historical standing, the village is a remarkable place producing outstanding people. According to history, in the 2nd year of Emperor Yongyuan of the Southern Qi Dynasty （AD 500）, Yong Daoxi, a native, staged an uprising and established state power to save people from deep misery. Known as general of west garrison, he led tens of thousands of rebellion troops to fight against local authorities in one place after another. Although the rebellion was put down, to date, local people are still proud of this hero.
