在当代官场小说中,湖南王跃文、阎真、肖仁福三位作家的官场小说颇具个性。他们的创作以现实主义为原则,不放弃典型化方法,注重环境和人物的刻画,其作品具有批判意义和可读性;但其视点各不相同,表现出一定的差异性。

Among contemporary novels about officialdom, those written by such Hunanese as Wang Yuewen, Yan Zhen and Xiao Renfu have their own characteristics. Their writings are based on realism, rooted in typicality and focus on the delineation of the circumstances and characters. They are critical of the society and are worth reading. Anyway they show some differences because of these novelists＇respective unique standpoints.
