A Tentative Comparison of Chinese Romantic Poetry and its British Counterpart

浪漫主义作为重要的文学流派,在中国文学史及英国文学史中都取得了极大的成就,两国的浪漫主义诗歌各具特色,异彩纷呈。但在不同的文化背景中,浪漫主义诗歌会有哪些特色呢?是不是浪漫主义在英文和中文中会有完全相同的表现形式和艺术内涵呢?本文拟从起源、作诗法及思想内容三方面分析其“不完全重合”关系。

Romanticism, as a representative genre of literature, with its vividness and expressiveness, occupied prestigious status and boasted splendid achievement in evolution of both Chinese poetry and English one. After detailed analyses from three aspects--the origin, the versification, the artistic connotation, the relationship of these two--partial commensurability,could be exposed.
