在对英语形容词词义、结构、特征、类型、修辞作用以及它们之间所存在的关系进行综合分析和较为详细的论述的基础上,针对其理解和忠实、通顺地进行翻译的方法问题予以研究的同时,提出了自己的观点。

Based on the synthetic analysis and detailed discussion of the semantic meanings, structures, characteristics, types, rhetorical functions and relationships existed among English adjectives, participles and transferred epithet, this paper will take up the corresponding questions of the commonly used English-Chinese translation methods. While focusing on probing into some questions of understanding and the principles of truthful, clear and coherent translation, the author will put forward his own points of view.
