添加氧化锆对氧化铝陶瓷的性能的影响 被引量:12

摘要 研究了ZrO2对Al2O3力学性能和耐磨性能的影响。将α-Al2O3与采用沉淀法合成的Zr(OH)4混合,凝胶混合物在600℃下煅烧2h。m(Al2O3)∶m(ZrO2)=85∶15的复合材料在1400℃至1650℃之间保温2h常压烧结。利用X射线衍射仪和扫描电子显微镜分别对试样的相组成和显微结构进行分析。结果表明,在1550℃温度下烧成的该复合材料获得了最高的密度、最好的耐磨性能和最佳的力学性能,其抗弯强度和断裂韧性分别达到708MPa和5.8MPa·m1/2。研究结果表明,在氧化铝中添加ZrO2有助于改善氧化铝陶瓷的力学性能和耐磨性能。 The effect of ZrO2 addition on the mechanical and wear properties of Al2O3 ceramics was studied in this work. A commercial a-alumina powder was mixed with Zr (OH)4 gel synthesized by a precipitation method. The mixture was calcined at 600 ℃ for 2 h. The m(Al2O3):m(ZrO2)=85:15 composites were sintered for 2 h at different temperatures between 1 400 ℃ and 1 650 ℃ in air. The phase compositions and the microstructures of the samples were investigated by an X-ray diffractometer and a scanning electron microscope, respectively. The highest density, the best wear resistance, the maximum bending strength of 708 MPa and the highest fracture toughness of 5.8 MPa ·m^1/2 were achieved at the sintering temperature of 1 550 ℃. Improvement of the mechanical and wear properties of the Al2O3 matrix should mainly be attributed to the addition of ZrO2.
