On the stages of international politics and economics, the European Union （EU） is a key player, and its development has great impact on the global political and economic setup. In 2005, the ＂constitutional crisis＂ occurred in the EU, the fruits of European economic integration, which once was thought irreversible, like the Single European Market and the united currency of euro, now also might fall apart.
