摘要
湿地具有调节气候、保持水源、净化水质、蓄洪防旱、维护生物多样性、休闲旅游和科学研究等独特功能。会仙岩溶湿地面积达120km2,是桂林山水的重要组成部分,也是桂林之肾,但目前已严重退化,仅及原湿地面积的20%,亟待进行抢救性保护。为此,建立省级湿地自然保护区,进行抢救性保护,这对于桂林市的生态建设、促进经济社会可持续发展有着重要的意义;同时也是建设桂林国际山水旅游名城的战略需要。
Wetlands possess many unique functions such as regional climate regulation, water resource protection, water quality purification, flood and drought control, biodiversity maintenance, tourism and scientific research. Huixian karst wetland, originally up to 120 km^2 in area, is a major proportion of Guilin landscape and the kidney of Guilin. However, it is degrading seriously at present, with only about 20% of the original area, needs protection urgently. Therefore, to carry out retrievable protection for the wetland by establishing natural reserve is of significance for the ecologic construction and enhancing economic and social sustainable development in Guilin city. And at the same time, it is also necessary for the establishment of international famous landscape tourism city.
