Analysis on the Connotations and Essential Characters of Sustainable Development of Enterprise

对于什么是企业可持续发展,目前学术界尚存在争论。企业可持续发展包括四个内涵。企业可持续发展的本质在于创新力与控制力的动态统一。创新力是企业发展壮大的前提,控制力是企业生命健康的保障。创新力与控制力的统一是任何优秀企业成功和长寿的共同“基因”;反之,创新力与控制力的失衡则是企业由盛而衰乃至丧失生命力的“病根”。

There are some debates in the academia about what the sustainable development of enterprise refers to. Based on the summary of previous research conclusions, this essay proposes the four connotations of sustainable development. The essence of sustainable development is the dynamic unification between innovating power and controlling power. Innovating power is the premise for the vigorous growth of enterprise. Controlling power is the guarantee for the healthy longevity of enterprise. The unification of innovating power and controlling power is the same ＂gene＂ of any excellent enterprise for the success and longevity. Contrarily, the unbalance between innovating power and controlling power is the root cause for an enterprise to fall into failure or even decease from prosperity.
