摘要 WebGIS是一种更为开放的、符合分布式GIS应用趋势的解决方案.阐述了现有的大多数WebGIS软件都是孤立的并且难以重用.而Web Service是一种全新的动态分布式计算模式.构建基于Web Service的We-bGIS,通过封装ArcObjects组件库S设计和实现系统,以示例说明了系统的优越性和可行性. WebGIS is more open and in according with the tendency of GIS for solving distributed GIS application. However, the most seftwares of WebGIS are independent and they are difficult to reuse, Web Service Architecture is a new model of dynamic distributed computing. In this architecture applications are encapsulated as Web Services to publish,which can be discovered or invoked by other consumers and companies crossing different object models, operating systems and programming languages, and thus the Web will become a platform applying not only to information but also to services, which can make up for the limitation of WebGIS. The necessity of developing the WebGIS which should be based on Web Service is expounded. It will demonstrate the advantage and feasibility of this kind of WebGIS through the design and some accomplished jobs of the WebGiS based on Web Service which is being developed by encapsulating AreObjects library.
