经世致用是中国学人治学的意义,宏博会通则是中国学人追求的目标。二者统一于儒。儒家精神乃我们国家民族基本的传统精神。在这种精神渐渐暗淡的今天,我们试图通过梳理近现代通儒钱穆先生为人为学所体现出来的精神,来探讨其意义。

As the purpose of application is the meaning of Chinese scholars＇ s researching, to nave a thorough and profound grasp of different kinds of knowledge is their aim. The two one are combined in the Confucian School which considered as our national basic spirit. This spirit has a little fainted today. But throughout the life of researching, Prof. Qian Mu, a Chinese modern scholar, showed his spirit of Gonfucian culture. The article is on the topic of this spirit.
