The functions and characters of Siemens PLC （Programmable Controller） are introduced. The control precision of Siemens PLC is improved through equipped with transducer. Taking for example,Siemens PLC and transducer are applied to gas pressurization station of large iron ＆ steel factory, the control method of Siemens PLC and the problems which should be paid attention to in execution are introduced.
