由于高速传输及成本效益的双重需求，以ＵＴＰ代替光纤作为１００Ｍｂ／ｓＦＤＤＩ网络的传输媒体，在生产和科研人员的努力下已逐渐可行。
Due to the dual requirements of high speed transmission and cost efficiency, UTP cable instead of optical fiber as 100 Mb/s FDDI networking media is gradually feasible through the efforts of production persons and researchers.
