加强和谐社会建设是一项系统工程。构建和谐社会是与党的领导方式和执政方式紧密联系在一起的。传统的领导方式和执政方式已不适应和谐社会建设的需要。要构建和谐社会必须创新党的领导方式和执政方式。创新党的领导方式和执政方式,必须坚持科学执政、民主执政、依法执政。

To strengthen the construction of a harmonious society is a systematic project. The construction of a harmonious society is closely related to the ways of leading and administrating of our party. The traditional way of leading and administrating can no long satisfy the need of constructing a harmonious society. Hence, it is necessary to innovate the ways of leading and administrating of our party in the hope of constructing a harmonious society, which should adhere to the principles of being scientific, democratic and legal.
