Difference in Language and Thinking Demands Different Strategies in Translation

思维方式,思维特征和思维风格是语言生成的哲学机制。语言是紧附在思维这个有无限纵深基础上的结构体。它既是人们用来表达对客观事物认识的工具,又是思维的主要载体和主要表现形式。文章旨在分析英汉两种语言的思维差异,从而探索出其翻译方法。

The philosophical mechanism of language includes three aspects of thinking： its mode, its characteristics and its style. Thinking is limitlessly rooted and language is inseparable attached to it. Language is not only a tool for people to express themselves and to get to know the objective things, but also a main carrier and expression of thinking. Aiming at analyzing the differences in thinking between English and Chinese, this paper tries to explore some strategies in translation.
