This paper briefly describes the progress researches on reducing the Peak-to-Average Power （PAPR）, analyzing the principle of Partial Transmit Sequences （PTS）. It gives the detailed algorithm using PTS to reduce the Peak-to-Average Power for OFDM.system, and obtains some results by Monte Carlo simulations.
