The embeded system development is a new hotspot in the field of computer. This paper firstly presents the feature of the interface of Pcmcia about PowerPC823 microprocessor, analyses the characteristics of range scan keyboard via the interface of Pcmcia and exterior memorizer, then describe the processes of input mechanism and device driver of kernel module. The scheme is quite novel.
