摘要
教学型大学是指以本科教育为主体的全日制大学。它以招收本科层次的学生为主体,主要履行人才培养和教育教学研究的职能,培养高水平技能型人才(即高级专门人才)和高级研究型后备人才,拥有学士学位授予权和少量的硕士学位授予权,可招收一定数量的专科生。与研究型大学相比,我国的教学型大学具有自己鲜明的个性特征,突出表现在:以本科教育为主体;主要承担高等教育大众化的任务;社会适应性强;重视复合型人才的培养;区域化优势明显;办学效益显著。
Teaching-oriented university refers to the fuR-time university that put much emphasis on the undergraduate education. This kind of university mainly recruits students of undergraduate level, carries out the functions of raising talent people and teaching education courses, and simultaneously trains skilled talents of higher quality, that is, advanced specialists, and advanced talents for research. The university has the fight to grant the bachelor＇s degree and the master＇s degree of limited disciplines, and it can also recruit a number of two or three-year-course students. Compared with research-orlented university, the teaching-oriented university in our country has some striking charactcristics of its own, which mainly include： taking raising undcrgreduate students as its main task; mainly undertaking the task of popularizing higher education, having strong adaptability to society; putting much emphasis on training complicate talents; with obvious regional advantages; and notable efficicncy of running school.
