The 3 parameters—— metric yarn count, yarn twist and loop length leading to fixed quality level of knitted fabric are discussed. The method of optimization based on the diagrams of superimposed contours is described. This method allowed finding the optimal values of the indicated parameters. These values are located in compromise zones where the properties satisfying the global quality of a knitted fabric are reached.
