国际小麦育种呈现四大特点:一是进一步提高小麦产量,通过保护性耕作降低生产成本;二是分子标记辅助选择已成为常规育种的重要组成部分;三是慢病性利用是抗病研究的主流方向;四是品质研究更注重营养特性。

International wheat breeding shows trend in four aspects based on the information presented at 7^th International Wheat Conference. Improvement of yield potential needed to be continued, and conservation agriculture is widely used to reduce input costs. Molecular marker assisted selection has integrated into the conventional breeding programs. Slow rusting is the major objectives for breeding rust resistance varieties. More efforts are invested on nutritional quality.
