The Zhagela gold mine was discovered through a combined chemical analysis of its water sediment and soil survey in which an anomaly of heavy gold powder was identified after regional geological survey on scale of 1:50000 water sediment and 1:10000 soil surveys on its perimeter show a host of large-scale, high-density, well-banded, and well-concentrated anomalies of gold, which are perfectly interlinked with arsenic and antimony anomalies, thus presenting golden prospects for finding minerals. The area has good minerogenetic conditions for gold. The discovery of the Zhagela gold deposit and its peripheral massive gold anomalies indicate the effectiveness of chemical analysis in searching for gold in that area. Fuller adoption of the chemical analysis method will lead to even more fruitful results in gold-finding in the area.
