每天洗药浴成为高华村的瑶族人生活中不可缺少的一部分,就好像天天要吃饭一样。这样看来,瑶家人当算世界上最会享受生生活,也是最讲究卫生的民族了。
The Japanese are reputed for taking baths in wooden tubs, normally at home, which amounts to a national hobby.- Coincidentally, ethnic Yao people at a southwest China village are fond of taking baths the same way. But there is a difference. The Japanese bathe in nice, warm water, using soap and shampoo in the process to clean themselves. Ethnic Yao people in the village, however, bathe in medicinal liquids prepared at home by boiling herbs fresh from surrounding mountains. Bathing this way is an indispensable part of their life-a pleasure they enjoy every day.
