With the rise of China＇s tourism.industry in the 80s of 20th century, a new diseipline --tourism earth-science was created serving tourism industry. The paper systematically summarizes its developing course, discipline connotation, main study results and its contribution to China＇ s tourism industry and looks forward to its obligation, task and bright prospect.
