分析介绍了我国排灌泵站进水设计研究工作的现状，根据国外水轮机行业在水力设计和研究工作方面近几年来的最新动向，对今后我国中小型泵站节能技术改造中进水设计研究的发展趋势进行了预测。

A critical review of research work for the inlet design of pumping stations for drainage and irrigation is given. In the light of the newest tendency on the hydraulic design and research work in the field of hydraulic turbines, the developing inclination of the research work for the inlet design of the technical improvement in middle and small size pumping stations is predicted.
