On the Character Word Sense

有关词义的性质问题解说繁多,很难求得一个相对统一的认定;然而它于词义内涵的科学把握至关重要。我们认为,在它上面体现了综合性的特征———客观性与主观性、抽象性与具体性、规范性与灵活性、普遍性与民族性等,构成了复杂的辩证统一关系。只有从宏观上进行整体把握,理论的表述才具有涵盖力;只有从本体的角度进行深入探究,对特点的揭示才能准确并有创获。

To understand the eharacter of the sense of word requires us to see it on the whole , to look into the thing-in-itself of language , and at the same time to pay attention to the function it serves for society. According to the points above, it is considered that the sense of word has four groups ineluding eight sorts of specifie properties. These develop into not only contradictory but also unitive connotations which mean a lot.
