以许渊冲等英译的《唐诗三百首》为蓝本,从汉语颜色词起源、构成及文化意义的角度对颜色词翻译的一般规律和翻译中要注意的一些问题作了尝试性的探讨。

Taking 300 Pieces of Tang Poems translated by Xu Yuanzhong and other people as an example, the basic laws of translating Chinese color words are examined and some of the problems that deserve our attention are discussed, with the focus on the origin, formation and cultural meaning of the color words.
