Analysis of Complications in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

目的探讨鼻窦内窥镜手术并发症发生原因及处理原则。方法对602例鼻窦内窥镜手术中32例并发症情况进行分析。结果纸板损伤血肿、气肿9例,出血大于200m l者3例,鼻中隔穿孔1例,鼻腔粘连19例。并发症发生率为5.3%(32/602)。结论鼻窦内窥镜手术并发症与缺乏手术经验、不熟悉解剖结构、盲目操作、鼻腔结构变异等相关。详细的术前检查、术中精巧的操作和术后的定期随访是预防和避免并发症发生的保证。

Objective To investigate the cause of complications occurring in the operations of endonasal sinus surgery （ESS） and how to deal with. Methods 32 cases complicatians among 602 patients performed with ESS were analyzed. Results The common complications were pneumoedema 9 cases,excessive bleeding （3 cases 〉 200ml）, orbital penetration （1 case） and middle turbinate adhesions（ 19 cases）. The incidence of complications was 5.3 % （32/602） . Conclusion The cause of complications in ESS are related with lack of experience , unfamiliarity of anatomic structure , blind operation , anatomic varitations of nasal cavity. The detail examine before operation , ingenious operation and regular following up after operation can avoid the occurrence of complication.
