本文介绍了为简化“推求先期固结压力的逐步逼近法”而进行的研究工作，通过对炎刘黄色粘土，炎刘褐色粘土，平顶山粘土，无锡粘土的实验结果的分析，提出了推求先期固结压力的实用方法，并通过实验进一步证实该方法推求ｐｃ是较为合理，可靠的．
Study on simplifying the iteration of ascertaining preconsolidation pressure are introduced in this article. The time for finishing the consolidation t100is adopted as constant and the values of pc obtained by the method suggested by the author are in good agreement with the true value of pc.
