硼砂在制备WC_p增强铁基复合材料中的粘结作用 被引量:2

摘要 通过检测用硼砂作为粘结剂的石英砂试样的抗弯强度,研究硼砂在制备WCp增强铁基复合材料中的粘结剂作用。结果表明,随硼砂加入量的增加,试样的抗弯强度值增大;当硼砂的加入量达到2%时,试样具有足够的抗弯强度;硼砂提供的粘结强度可以维持到600℃以上;经与硅酸钠粘结剂比较,加入2%硼砂试样的抗弯强度高于1%硅酸钠试样的抗弯强度。硼砂特殊的化学结构特征决定了它在一定条件下可以作为粘结剂使用。 Through checking the bend strength of samples made by quartz sand, using borax as bonding agent, the bonding function of borax in fabricating WC particles reinforced iron matrix composites was investigated. The results showed that the bending strength of samples increased with the increasing of borax content of samples. The sample has reasonable bending strength at 2% borax content or more; the bending strength remained as high as 600℃ when using borax as the bonding agent. The bending strength with 2% borax as bond was higher than that of samples with 1% sodium silicate as bond. The special chemical structure character of borax results in that it can be used as bonding agent in some conditions.
