《型世言》中出现的比况助词有8个,但使用得最多的是“般”和“一般”；比况助词的意义可以表示比喻或相似,也可以表示不定判断(或推测)语气,但表示比喻或相似的情况占着绝对优势；在比况助词出现的格式中,简式和全式的比例大致相当,其中,在全式中出现的像义动词主要是“似”、“是”；比况短语在句子中可以作状语、定语、补语、谓语和宾语。
There are 8 comparison auxiliaries in《型世言》, and mostly used are＂般＂ and＂一般 ＂. Comparison auxiliaries express comparison or likelihood, uncertain judgement or guess, but comparison and likelihood are dominant. In the application formats of comparison auxiliaries, the simple and full formats take roughly 50 percent respectively. Likelihood verbs in the full format are＂似＂：＂是＂ ;Comparison phrases can serve as adverbials, attributes, complements ,predicates and objects in sentences.
