摘要编码理论中关于寻找某一线性码的最大长度涉及到有限射影空间中对于t-blocking sets,arcs&caps集的元的个数的讨论,研究(k,r)-arc集的元的个数,找到了mr(2,q)的一个新值. The theory of linear maximum distance separable codes（MDS code） which is equivalent to the theory of arcs in projective spaces has been stressed in many books on Galois geometries and coding theory. The main aim of this paper is to prove a new maximum value mr（2, q）.
