结合改进的PCC算法与LBG算法的高效码书设计 被引量:2

摘要 针对传统LBG算法因依赖于初始码书的选取,从而容易陷入局部最小的问题,提出一种改进的基于PCC的LBG快速算法。它结合了非迭代算法的码书生成速度和迭代算法码书质量高的优点,使得整体算法的性能得到了很大的提高。实验表明,该整体算法具有收敛速度快、码书性能佳等优点,其PSNR比传统的LBG算法提高3.17 dB。 LBG algorithm is a classical algorithm for vector quantization. The performance of entire algorithm combined with improved PCC algorithm is greatly improved. The results show the entire algorithm has fast convergence rate and excellent performance for codebook design. The improvement of PSNR for the proposed algorithm exceed 3. 17 dB compared with that of the LBG algorithm.
