摘要
为在高纯铝(99.99%)中获得细小的等轴晶组织,铁的加入量必须达到包晶反应的最低成分0.15%Ti。然而在工业纯铝(99.7%)中存在的杂志元素显著降低了得到同样细小晶粒所必须的钛含量。以新开发的Al-Ti-C中间合金的形式加入到Al99.7中的TiC使得α—Al在TiC基本上生核得以实现。
In order to generate fine equiaxed grains in superpure aluminium(99.99)titanium additions must approach the peritectic composition of 0.15% Ti. However, the presence of impurity elements in commercially pure aluminium (99.7)remarkably lowers this addition rate of titanium for obtaining similar grain size. TiC added via a new Al-Ti-C master alloy indigenously developed in the laboratory acts as a substrate for the nucleation of aluminium crystals.
