环氧合酶-2在鼻咽癌的表达及意义

Expression of cyclooxygenase-2 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and its significance

目的:研究环氧合酶2(COX-2)在鼻咽癌中的表达及其意义,探讨COX-2在鼻咽癌的形成,转移中的作用。方法:应用免疫组化法检测正常鼻咽部组织、炎症组织及39例不同临床分期鼻咽癌组织COX-2蛋白的表达,测定转移者与无转移者COX-2的表达。结果:与正常、炎症的鼻咽部组织相比COX-2在鼻咽癌组织过度表达为82%,在鼻咽癌Ⅰ-Ⅱ期、Ⅲ期、Ⅳ期的阳性表达率分别为55.6%,80%,100%,在病例TNM分期晚期比早期高(P<0.05),转移者明显高于无转移者(P<0.05)。结论:在鼻咽癌组织中COX-2过度表达,其表达上调与鼻咽癌的形成关系密切,并与肿瘤分期及转移相关,提示COX-2在鼻咽癌的发生、发展中可能起一定作用。

Objective： To investigate the expression of cyclooxygenase - 2 （cox - 2 ） protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC）. Methods： The levels of expression cox - 2 protein in NPC, normal and inflammatory nasopharyngeal epithelia were determined with immunohistochemical technique and the results were compared one another to evaluate the pathological changes of NPC. The comparisons were made among different clinical stages of NPC and between metastasis group and non - metastasis group. Results： Cox - 2 protein was over expressed 82% in NPC compared with that in normal and inflammatory nasopharyngeal epithelia（p〈0.05）. The positive rates of expression in stage Ⅰ to Ⅱ, Ⅳ and Ⅳ were 55. 6%, 80% and 100%, respectively. The level of cox - 2 protein expression in the metastasis group was higher statistically than that in non - metastasis group（p〈0.05）. Conclusion： The over expression of cox - 2 may be related to oncogenesis, development and metastasis of NPC.
