《旧约》乐器考

The Musical Instrument In The Old Testament

本文以《旧约》汉语官话和合本为据,参照《旧约》其他文字的文本,逐一考证分析琴、箫、瑟、笛、号、角、鼓、钹八种《旧约》中出现的主要乐器,探讨了上述乐器的神圣和世俗功能、乐器名称的语义流变、其人类学和音乐学的内涵,以及翻译过程中意义和意象的传承和转换问题。

This paper discusses eight musical instruments used in the Old Testament： tarp, flute, lyre; trumpet ; horn, drum, and cymbals, in order to illuminate both of their holy and secular functions, their anthropological and musical meanings and the semantic changing routes of their names ad well. Since the analysis is based upon Chinese Union Version of the Bible with the original Hebrew terms for the instruments added, it also pays much attention to the shifting of the biblical meanings and images during the history of translation.
