摘要
本文从文献与古遗迹角度论证了大禹出生于四川省北川县石纽刳儿坪,大禹的出生和娶妻皆与巴蜀人的大石崇拜有密切的关系,而伴随大禹治水把这种“石生人”的大石崇拜又带到了中原、楚越之地。禹在其父鲧被帝杀死之后,他便承担了父亲留下的治水重任,由岷江东别为沱,“卒布土以定九州”。巫山神女神话虽产生于战国时代,却与大禹治水直接相关,大禹治水足跡遍于大半个中国,《山海经·山经》中所记山水应是他的亲身经历。因此,大禹神话的表现形式就是英雄神话与大石崇的拜结合体,其与远古巴蜀历史文化表现为一种同构关系。
