Under the environment of Solidworks, a method for precise modeling of cylinder gear is presented. The profile of the gear tooth and its relationship with cutter of manufacture is discussed particularly, equations of involute and gear tooth root of the profile is discussed partly, and the program to candulate the profile of the gear is given. At last, a precise modeling of cylinder gear is presented under Solid works.
