Over the last 12 months, influential voices both inside and outside of central government have been expressing concern over increasing wealth inequality. After more than two decades of fast economic growth, characterized by a get-rich-quick philosophy, politicians and policy makers have begun the important move towards guaranteeing that the benefits of development are shared by all sectors of society. Central to this objective will be finding adequate solutions to one of the biggest problems to emerge from the country's economic miracle: the widening income gap. This month, CIB looks into the growing concern of wealth inequality and asks four experts how they think the problem can best be solved.
