脑膜瘤骨侵袭行为中血管内皮生长因子表达研究 被引量:12

摘要 目的研究脑膜瘤不同的骨侵袭行为中血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)表达的差异性,探讨VEGF在骨侵袭中的生物学意义。方法应用HE染色和免疫组化方法检测36例脑膜瘤标本及受累骨质的病理类型及VEGF蛋白表达水平,进行病理学对比观察。结果36例标本中有骨侵袭的23例,VEGF表达为强阳性者5例,阳性者17例,阴性者1例;13例无肿瘤骨侵袭标本中,VEGF表达为强阳性者1例,阳性者6例,阴性者6例。脑膜瘤骨侵袭与VEGF表达程度显著相关(P<0.05)。VEGF主要表达于脑膜瘤细胞的胞浆,在肿瘤向骨组织浸润最明显处表达最强。结论VEGF表达水平反映脑膜瘤对相邻骨质的侵袭能力;VEGF参与脑膜瘤骨病理改变的形成机制。 Objective To study the variability of vascular endothehal growth factor (VEGF) expression with regard to different cranial invasive behaviors of meningiomas and to investigate the biologic significance of VEGF in cranial invasion of meningiomas. Methods By HE and immunohistochemical techniques, VEGF expression and pathological type in the specimens of 36 meningiomas were detected. Comparatively pathological study was carried out. Results Crainal invasion of meningiomas in 23 out of 36 cases were detected, of which 5 cases were strong positive for VEGF staining and 17 cases positive, but 1 case showed negative for VEGF staining. Non-invaded bones in 13 out of 36 were detected, of which 1 case was strong positive for VEGF staining, 6 cases positive and 6 cases negative. The level of VEGF expression was related with the invasive behavior of meningiomas (P 〈 0. (15). VEGF was stained mostly in cytoplasm of meningioma cells and the strongest expression of VEGF located at the spots invaded by tumor cells in bones. Conclusion The expression level of VEGF represents the invasive ability of meningiomas towards adjacent cranial bones. VEGF may play a role in bone pathological mechanism of meningioma.
