根据冶炼厂生产的迫切需要，研制成国内首创的ＵＳＧ—２型５０吨转炉炉口清理机。该机的应用，实现了炉口清理的机械化，避免了以往用人工清理的繁重劳动，缩短了清理时间，确保了安全作业。该机设计新颖，性能先进，工作可靠。它除能用于炉口清理外，还能破碎炉渣，料块和混凝土路面及拆除炉衬。经济效益和社会效益十分明显。

According to the Urgent requirement of smelter production, the USG2model 50t cleaning machine for converter outlet,which is the first one in China,was de- veloped. Along with the application of this machine, the mechanization of the converter outlet cleaning has been realized,the hard work which the cleaning was done by men in the past has been eliminated,the cleaning time has been shortened and the safe production has been ensured. This machine is novel in design,good in performance and reliable in working. Besides the converter outlet cleaning,it can be used to break the slags, material blocks and concrete road surface,and dismantle the furnace lining,The economical and social benefits are very considerable.
