阿莱-罗周电负性数值是从元素原子的自身性质求得;而鲍林电负性数值是根据分子键能的热化学数据而求得的。后者数值已把成键原子间的相互极化包括其中了,这就造成两者数值上不平行性的一个原因。
The data of Allred-Rochow's Electronegativity are obtained through thecharacter of single atom of elements itself. But the data of Pauling's Elec-tronegativity are obtained according to the thermochemistry values of for-mation bonds by bonding atoms, so that the factor of polarizing each otherbetween bonding atoms is included in the latter data. This is the reason fornon-parallelism between the data of Pauling's electronegativity and Allred-Rochow's.
